On August 27, 2025，Ambassador Liu Weimin visited the site of the China-aided Peripheral Area of Mala’ekula Royal Tomb Improvement Project in Nuku’alofa. He listened to the construction company's report on the progress of the work, and expressed his regards to the project staff. Ambassador Liu carefully inquired about the survival rate of the transplanted green seedlings, and requested the construction company to strictly control the quality and do a perfect job in the final stage of the project.

Afterwards, Ambassador Liu also inspected the site of the China-aided Tonga National Sports Complex Project, requested to ensure good maintenance of the project and strengthen the training of Tongan technical personnel.
