Recently, H.E.Ambassador Liu Weimin called on Tonga's newly appointed Minister for Revenue and Customs, Tapueluelu, Minister for Internal Affairs, Tu'itahi, Minister for Tourism and Minister for Justice, Finau, and Minister for Public Enterprises, Minister for Police, Minister for Fire and Emergency Services, Piukala respectively. 

In-depth discussions were conducted on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as customs inspection, sports, tourism, police and emergency management.
