Royal Tonga Police Band(RTPB) brought a music feast to Ambassador Liu Weimin, Embassy staff, China-Tonga Agriculture Aid Group, Chinese teachers, and representatives of Chinese institutions in Tonga on Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2024.

With the Tongan classic "Hala Kuo Papa", island-style folk dance, Christmas song "Jingle Bells", and folk song "Jasmine" singing in Chinese, the splendid skills of RTPB won big cheers and warm applause.

Band director, Chief Inspector Sia, fondly recalled his trip to China, which left a wonderful memory to him and all the other band members, especially the hospitality and retreat received from Chinese police band counterpart. He said that the band members from two sides established friendship and kept in contact with each other from now and then. He looked forward to more exchanges in the future.

Ambassador Liu Weimin thanked RTPB for the brilliant performance and extended holiday greetings.
