On December 5, Mr. Ruan Dewen, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Tonga, met with Mr. Mesuilame Vea, acting Director of National Planning Division of the Prime Minister's Office. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation to facilitate Tonga’s priority agenda in different areas.

Counselor Ruan said that China is willing to share its successful experience with Tonga, unwaveringly support Tonga Strategic Development Framework (TSDF III), and enhance more practical cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Mesuilame Vea spoke highly of China's constant support for Tonga’s development, and said that Tonga is keen to learn valuable experience from China so as to better promote Tonga's economic and social development.
