On November 27^th, 2024, Ambassador Liu Weimin, as the guest of honor, attended Graduation Ceremony of Ocean of Light International School. Board members and staff of the school, graduates and their parents attended the ceremony.

Ambassador Liu warmly congratulated the graduates who had successfully completed their studies, and commended the school development and achievement. He stressed that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1998, China-Tonga relations have made steady progress, and had fruitful cooperation outcomes in the field of education. He encouraged the students to learn Chinese language and learn more about China’s history and culture so as to become envoys to promote the China-Tonga friendship. Ambassador Liu also awarded the students with graduation certificates.

Ocean of Light International School started in March 1996,  it has almost 600 students, over 44 teachers, assistants and various ancillary staff.
