China Online Visa Application Appointment for Visa Application Submission system will take effect since October 28, 2019.

Visa applicant with ordinary passport should visit https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn to seek an appointment for submission and bring his passport, the printed and signed application form, and confirmation of online visa application,together with other related documents .

Applicants with diplomatic or official passport or members of  important government delegation do not need to seek an appointment beforehand and can submit the application directly to the Chinese Embassy.
